S8-Series Features
- Low profile design for optimal
performance in conditions with dry, free flowing materials
- Flappers and seats of long wearing
high chrome can be
repeatedly re-ground for extended service life
- Special design eliminates jamming under normal conditions
- Unique front access cover permits cleaning, service, and
replacement without systems interruption
- Outboard mounted shaft bearings permit air circulation and easy
access to shaft seals for replacement
- Optional knife edge seat prevents
material build up on the flappers, increases closing force,
and helps cut through stringy materials
- Standard operating temperatures up to
750oF (399oC). Available to 1800o F
(980oC)

The 6" - 12" capacities are based on standard 6x per minute cycle. For 16"+ valves the cycle is 4x per minute. A dutchman or spool piece can be supplied to enable
greater capacity. Cycle times are fully adjustable.

Special drives or other custom features such as controls, limit
switches, cooling jets, special shaft seals or other requirements
are available.
IMPORTANT NOTE: S-Series valves are designed for
free flowing particulate and are NOT suitable for cutting through
a head of material.
