I - Series Isolation Gate Valve

Designed as an extra heavy duty isolation gate valve. Plattco I-Series valves are used as emergency isolation gates designed to close upon loss of air or electricity. The gates are installed in full feed lines with dedicated air tanks and maintain high performance air seals with the ability to cycle frequently. They are manufactured in a variety of high performance alloys, 6" to 48" in size.

I - Series Standard Features:

  • Rail cleaning air jets

  • Rail wipers on both sides of plate

  • Flange pattern drilled to match customer requirements

  • Pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, manual, and chain wheel actuators

  • Adjustable seal on gate drive rod

  • Optional bonnet-mounted double acting limit switch and solenoid valve

  • High temperature industrial paint

  • Bonnet access covers

  • Bonnet environmentally sealed to atmosphere

  • Ramp seating bar purge available to eliminate material build up at end of stroke

  • Side seals on larger valves to allow for thermal expansion

Typical uses:

  • Fuel line emergency cut off (fluidized bed incineration)

  • Burner isolation

  • Feed gate

All isolation gates can be customized to meet the needs of specific applications.  Available in square, rectangular and round configurations.
