Raw Mill Feed Valve

New Product in Development

  • Raw mill inlet airlock valve
  • Less than 1 PSI pressuredifferential
  • Up to 700 degrees F operatingtemperature
  • Flow rates around 350tph with largeparticle sizes of around 4” and lower
  • Purpose is to provide an airlockfeed to the mill inlet – limiting the amount of cold fresh air allowed to enterthe mill, increasing mill temperature and efficiency
  • 350TPH valve feedrate, handling rawfeed material up to 4” size
  • Competition are large custom builtrotary valves and triple gate valves which don’t seal well and cost the planthundreds of thousands a year in maintenance

Raw Meal Pneumatic Line Diverter

Product: HP Slidegate

  • Pneumatic line diverter valve tocontrol flow of raw meal to different destinations
  • Temperature 200F and below
  • Pressure up to 30PSI
  • Installation orientation iscritical to valve function
  • Purpose is to seal off pipeline tocontrol direction of material flow
  • Competition are SK type divertervalves and other gate valve diverters which are not as reliable or maintenancefriendly

Alternative Fuel Feed Airlock and Gate

Products: Double Flap Valve & MT Slidegate

  • Double flap valve is used as the airlock feeder into the calciner. MT slidegate is used as the isolation device to prevent backflow of hot calciner gases
  • Competitive airlocks and gatesstruggle to handle the materials being fed due to irregular particle sizes andlight densities
  • Mt Slidegate isolation valve isapplied separately from dfv when an airlock change is not requested
  • Pressure normally less the 1 PSIvacuum, upset condition could see 1 PSI positive pressure
  • Temperatures for upset conditions1800F for up to 36 hours
