Alternative Fuel Feed Airlock and Gate

Double flap valve is used as the airlock feeder into the calciner. MT Slidegate is used as the isolation device to prevent backflow of hot calciner gases
Competitive airlocks and gates struggle to handle the materials being fed due to irregular particle sizes and light densities
MT Slidegate isolation valve is applied separately from DFV when an airlock change is not requested
Pressure normally less the 1 PSI vacuum, upset condition could see 1 PSI positive pressure

Pfister Feeder Isolation
Product: MT Slidegate
Pfister feeder isolation gate
Purpose is to shut off coal flow to rotary feeder above the Pfister injector
Temperature less than 200 F
Pressure below is Atmospheric
Competition are track "wafer" style slidegate valves which jam open or closed so cannot operate as isolation valves when needed
